Frank you outdid yourself. The detail was striking. Having it take place in Hull was a stroke of genius. I kept trying to put your characters to folks I knew. From when I started I read faster and faster and hated to put it down. Needless to say I highly recommend it. All Hull High Alumni around that era should read it for their enjoyment as well as knowing that proceeds go to scholarships at Hull High School! Can’t wait for your next gem Frank! PS redevelopment is still anchored in a similar quagmire, imagine that!

This is a great mystery and I love the foreshadowing Frank uses so expertly. The setting was great and I loved knowing this was the author's hometown and the place where he met his wife! The story very cleverly unfolds with excitement, and leaves the reader trying to figure out what is happening next! There are many surprises in the book, and I loved the character development. I felt like I knew the people and knew the setting because of the great descriptions. Frank very cleverly creates short chapter that keep the reader progressing rapidly. So, once you start the book, it's difficult to put it down for even a moment. I love knowing this author! He met with us in our Book Club and what a treat it was!

The setting of this book is my town and that automatically drew my attention. It is a great mystery with a number of things going on to keep you guessing. I had to read it from start to finish in one day! I would highly recommend this book to mystery fans.

Having grown up in Hull, I loved all the references to places I know. Great plot twist and the characters were great.

I bought this book because you always want to support former classmates and to my pleasant surprise this book is outstanding. It was very well-written and it held my interest from beginning to end. I have read almost everything that McBain, Sanford, and Parker have written and this book can be compared to their work. I would be very interested in reading a sequel.

I picked this up on a whim, knowing the author grew up in my home town. It was a great read and I could not put it down. Lots of twists and turns with a great ending!

This novel is a real "page-turner." The characters are full realized and come alive in a plot that is full of twists and turns. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed reading a novel more than this one!!!

Great book, I normally read Patterson, Baldacci and Standford, Frank's was as good if not better than these guys.
